Boomers and Beyond

This expo was held at the Stroudsburg Junior High School on Saturday, April 28, 2007. We were flattered to be invited to participate. Anika and I arrived at 8:30 to get our table ready. The doors opened to the public at 10 a.m.; We stayed until the end at 4 p.m.

Like a sentry, Anika sits confidently for the pre-Expo photo. The stuffed dog caught the attention of many visitors, who thought it was real. They had a double surprise when they realized we did have a pup accompanying us!

Anika had a friend, James, who came back repeatedly throughout the day to make sure she was not bored.

Just when Anika was starting to get a little restless...

Jim joined us with Jamaica.

A special thanks to those who came out to walk Anika and keep me company: Susie Marsh (who offered coffee!), Julie Dougherty (who brought me lunch), Robin MacFarlane & Cathy Schmalfuss (who bought a crate for the club).
