Earth Day at Jacobsburg State Park

April 21, 2007

More and more places are forbidding dogs.
This is because people don't stop to clean up after their canine friends when they poop!
It's not fun, but it's part of having a dog. Carry baggies with you when you walk,
and remove the waste after your dog deposits it.
Stop the spread of zoonosis, and keep our dogs in the places we like to travel with them!

Rick reads over the material Dr. MacCabe has brought with us.

Our mission was to subtly remind people to pick up after their dogs.

Jim and the girls relax on the trail.

We enjoyed the stroll while looking for poop that had been left behind by prior trail users.

I pose with Jamaica and Anika on one of the trails.

Note the orange baggie on my waste -- picking up waste may not be fun, but it is easy!

Ellen and Jim man the table with the help of Valor and Jamaica

We said hi to so many people on this beautiful spring afternoon!
