Demo At Pocono Mountain West
We were invited out to assist Kevin with his senior project. He spoke about
the senses of Seeing Eye dogs and how they use them to help guide their handlers.
Jen and I brought our puppies to show the "before" part of a Seeing
Eye dog.
Kevin holds Valla.
Kevin, Jen, & Laura with Valla and Nani.
Nani demonstrates how a puppy sits.
She was around 13 weeks old.
Even young Valla can sit.
This was her first outing; she was nine weeks old.
A student hands Nani a bone.
Teaching the puppies what they can and cannot chew on is important.
Valla enjoyed the attention from all the students who wanted to pet her.
